Reorder Points and Targets (previously known as PAR Levels & Reorder Quantities) can be considered a floor and a ceiling, respectively, for your ideal inventory levels.
Keep reading for more of a breakdown along with a graphic to help explain precisely what we mean:
Reorder Point Previously PAR Level)
The Reorder Point is the ideal minimum quantity you want in stock at all times.
This is similar to an Alert level and is extremely valuable for keeping a well-stocked shelf and avoiding running out of a product.
Reorder Points can be thought of as a soft floor.
Reorder Target (previously Reorder Quantity)
The Reorder Target is your ceiling. This is how many units make for a "full" product shelf.
Another way to think about the Reorder Target is the quantity you want to return to when it hits the Reorder Point. In theory, this is your ideal maximum for the given product.
Reorder Points and Targets are included with Standard plans and above.

Auto-Add Products Below Reorder Point
Easily manage your inventory with the "Auto-Add Products Below Reorder Point" feature. With a single click, you can automatically add products at or below their Reorder Points to your Internal Transfers or Purchase Orders.
If you've set Reorder Targets, we'll automatically fill in the units needed to bring your stock back to the desired level, ensuring you don’t overstock.

Example
Let’s say:
Reorder Point = 10 units
Reorder Target = 20 units
If inventory drops to 5 units (below the Reorder Point), your next Purchase Order will automatically order 15 units to bring you back to the Reorder Target of 20.
