We have released a new Catalog Experience, currently in Beta. Thrive allows you to switch between views, so it's important to distinguish which experience you are using to find the right information, actions, and to follow the correct guidance.

This quick guide will help you identify which experience you're in. This guide covers differences in appearance, but if you want to learn more about the functionality of the new pages, start here.

The Easiest Way: Check for the Switch Button

Look at the top right corner of any product-related page in Thrive. This will include pages that show your individual product and catalog details.

Do you see a button that says "Switch to Old Experience"?

  • YES → You have the New Catalog Experience

  • NO → You have the Old Catalog Experience

That's it! This is the quickest and most reliable way to tell which experience you're using.

Still Not Sure? Check Your Catalog Layout

New Experience

From the Catalog>Products & Variants page, besides the "Switch to Old Experience button", you'll see 3 Navigations at the top to switch between the Products, Variants, and Bins Views for your Catalog.

Another Key Indicator is the new Icon selections at the top right.

Additionally, if you click into Inventory from the Navigation Bar, you'll see the Bins View, only available with the new experience!

Old Experience

With the old experience, clicking into Catalog>Products & Variants will only show you 1 view of your catalog. At the top, instead of icons, you'll see buttons with words.

Need to Verify Further? Check Product Information Pages

New Experience

The new experience includes a new Product Details Page to manage individual Product information across all locations. Besides the new look, you can verify you are in the new experience by checking the navigation options and page organization.

The new Product Details Page will have Sections listed vertically on the left. Click between sections to navigate through the page.

Old Experience

Other than the look, you'll know your in the Edit Product Page, if you see three tabs across the top for Product Details, Locations, and Integrations.

Getting Help Based on Your Experience

When reading Thrive help articles, look for sections labeled "New Experience" or "Old Experience." Follow the instructions for your experience.

When contacting support, let us know which experience you are using. We may also ask questions to verify your experience.
