You can hide Thrive's AI tools for yourself in a few clicks. Here's how, what changes, and how to bring them back.
Open Marketplace from the left sidebar.
Under Built by Thrive, find the Hide AI Features card and click it. It's near the top. You can also type "AI" in the Marketplace search.
Click Opt In. Yes, that turns the hiding on.
The pop-up closes and the AI buttons go away. The card now shows Opted-In.
This setting is just for you. Other people on your account still see AI tools unless they turn it on too. If you use more than one Thrive account, turn it on in each one. You don't need to be an admin.
What it hides and blocks
While Hide AI Features is on, these tools are gone for you:
Tory, the chat assistant. The chat button in the bottom-right corner goes away, and so does Tory's own card in Marketplace.
AI Image Gen. The Enhance with AI buttons on product and variant images go away.
AI Assist purchase-order import. The Import with AI Assist button, the AI Assist filter and the Imported column on the Purchase Orders list go away. So does the AI Assist Purchase Orders card in Settings → Purchase Orders. If you have access to Purchase Orders, opening the import page takes you back to the Purchase Orders list. No import starts either way.
AI tools added later. Thrive builds new AI tools to respect this setting too.
It does more than hide buttons: Thrive refuses new requests to these tools.
This setting wins over everything else. Even if you opted in to Tory, or your plan includes AI Assist, the tools stay off while this is on.
What it does not change
Everything else in Thrive works as normal. You can still create purchase orders by hand, run stocktakes, manage your catalog and view reports.
Purchase orders you already imported with AI Assist stay, with all their details. Only the Imported column is hidden. It comes back when you turn AI back on.
An image enhancement you started before turning this on may still finish.
Turning off just Tory
If you only want Tory gone, open the Tory AI Assistant card in Marketplace and click Opt Out.
There is no separate switch for AI Image Gen or AI Assist import. To hide those, use Hide AI Features.
Hiding AI for everyone on your account
Hide AI Features only covers you. To turn AI off for everyone on your account, start a chat with us and ask us to turn it off for your whole account.
Turning AI back on
Open Marketplace from the left sidebar.
Click the Hide AI Features card. Turning this setting on does not hide its own card.
Click Opt Out.
If AI was hidden for your whole account, start a chat with us to have it turned back on. Your own Opt Out cannot undo an account-wide setting.
