One of your sales channels has stopped syncing, and on Settings → Locations & Integrations the row reads:
Disabled. Please contact support in order to sync, remove, or add this sales channel to another Thrive account.
You may also see a red banner at the top of that page saying the same thing, with the channel named.
What "Disabled" actually means
Nothing syncs to or from that channel. No products go out, no sales come in.
There is no Reauthorize link on a disabled row. That link only appears for a channel that needs reconnecting, which is a different state.
Reconnecting the channel does not fix it. Running the connect flow again leaves a disabled channel disabled.
You cannot switch the status back yourself. Only Thrive can. The app says so in the message on the row.
The three rules that disable a channel
What happened | Does anything warn you? | Who turns it back on |
1. You are over your plan's number — the same number is checked against your locations and against your counted sales channels | Yes — a banner counting down 14 days | Our team. Upgrading on its own does not bring the channels back. |
2. You went over your transaction limit | Yes — a warning banner, then a second one when syncing stops | The statuses come back by themselves once your allowance is above the level Thrive recorded for your account (worked out from your recent averages), not just above today's usage. The sync switches stay off. |
3. Your account has no paid features and the owner has not used Thrive for 30 days | No | Our team. Signing back in does not undo it. |
Rule 1 — over your plan's number of locations and sales channels
Your plan has one number, and it is checked against two counts separately. A plan that allows three locations allows three locations and, separately, three counted sales channels. Go over either count and you are over. The two counts are not added together:
All your product feeds count as one slot between them, however many you have set up.
Already-disabled channels are not counted, so the number in the warning banner can be smaller than the number of rows you see on the settings page.
You get 14 days. The first time your account goes over, a clock starts. Nothing is switched off until you have been over for fourteen days in a row. Drop back under in the meantime and the clock resets.
While the clock is running, a banner sits at the top of every page:
In order to continue using all of your sales channels, you must upgrade to a plan that supports them in the next N days. If no action is taken, the following channels will be disabled: (your channels). Please review your setup and select a plan.
The same warning also appears on your Dashboard, where the action line reads Please review your setup and select a plan here.
If you are over on counted sales channels, the newest eligible ones are switched off — not the least used. If you are over on locations only, no channel goes on the switch-off list at all.
You meet the same limit from the other side if you try to set up a Meta feed while you have no slot left and no Meta feed already running. In that situation, that page shows This feature requires an additional integration slot. with a Try for Free button, which opens a chat with our team about the plan.
How to fix it
Either remove locations or channels until you are back within your number, or upgrade your plan (Settings → Billing) or buy an add-on for extra locations.
Then start a chat with us to have the disabled channels switched back on. Upgrading does not do it — it clears the warning, but the channels stay disabled until we change them.
The version of this you meet before anything is disabled
If you try to map a new store while connecting a sales channel and you are already at your number, Thrive stops you there and then:
Location limit reached You have reached the maximum number of locations for your plan. Please upgrade to {plan} or above to finish setting up your {sales channel} integration. Continue to Billing · Cancel
Nothing is created — no location, no channel — and the store stays unmapped until there is room for it. Upgrading is one way; removing a location you no longer need is another. If no single plan is big enough, the middle sentence instead offers an add-on for additional locations.
Adding a location by hand is blocked in the same way: You have reached the maximum number of locations for your plan. Please upgrade your plan to add more locations.
Rule 2 — over your transaction limit
This one is measured on your average transactions per month, worked out across the last three months. It warns you once before it bites.
First, a banner:
You have reached your 30-day {limit} transaction limit. Please upgrade your plan or purchase an add-on by {date} to prevent syncing from turning off.
The button reads Upgrade now. You will also get an email once your average goes over 90% of your limit; it is sent once.
Then, if nothing changes by that date:
Syncing has stopped in your account. Please upgrade or purchase a transaction add-on to resume.
The button reads See add-ons. At that point product sync and inventory sync are switched off on every channel, and each channel is set to Disabled. The one exception is Thrive Invoicing, which remains enabled so you can continue processing payments. If your invoices are paid through Clover, those payments stop while the Clover channel is disabled.
How to fix it
Upgrade your plan, or buy a transaction add-on, so that your new allowance is above the level Thrive recorded for your account (worked out from your recent averages), not just above today's usage. Unlike rule 1, the channel statuses then come back on by themselves. A plan change runs the check straight away; otherwise a scheduled check picks it up, and that runs about twice a day.
One thing to know about the recovery:
The two sync switches stay off. Bringing the status back does not turn "Sync products and variants" and "Sync inventory quantities" back on. Whether you can turn them on yourself depends on your setup: if Thrive manages your catalog and your plan includes inventory features, the switches are editable. Otherwise they are locked, and the page may read Contact Customer Care to change these settings (when a sales channel manages your catalog) or You do not have the Inventory feature (when your plan lacks it). In that case, start a chat with us.
Rule 3 — no paid features, and the owner has not used Thrive for 30 days
If your account has no paid features — for customers that means the free Basic plan — and the account owner has not used Thrive for 30 days, Thrive switches everything off. "Used" means signed-in activity of any kind.
What actually happens:
Product sync and inventory sync are switched off on every channel. Where one of those switches was on, the daily quantity import is switched off with it.
Those channels are then set to Disabled — except Thrive Invoicing, which keeps its status.
It follows the account owner only. Staff using Thrive every day does not keep the account active. If the owner never uses it, the clock still runs out.
Signing back in does not undo it. Nothing switches back on when the owner returns.
There is one exception: if your trial ended within the last 14 days, the account counts as active regardless.
How to fix it
Start a chat with us. We can switch the channels and the sync settings back on. Have the owner sign in as well, so the clock restarts.
Nothing schedules a catch-up for the missed period. Ordinary sales imports do look back over a recent window, so some of the missed sales may arrive on their own — but a full catch-up is not guaranteed. Tell us the dates you think are missing and we can check.
Two things that look like this but are not
You reached the free Basic plan's monthly order limit. The free Basic plan includes 100 orders a month; paid plans have no monthly order limit. Once 100 orders have come in during a calendar month, nothing is disabled and your sales keep coming in. But Thrive stops sending product and inventory changes out to your sales channels for the rest of that month. The month is counted in the account owner's time zone, and sending starts again when the next month begins. If syncing stopped partway through a month and came back at the start of the next, say so when you start a chat with us.
Your account is past due. A missed payment on its own does not disable anything. You get a note on your Dashboard. It reads Your account is currently past due, with the link Click here to review your billing information.
How to tell which one hit you
What else is on your screen | Which rule |
A banner counting down days and naming the channels that will be disabled | Rule 1 — plan limits |
A banner about your 30-day transaction limit, or "Syncing has stopped in your account" | Rule 2 — transactions |
A past-due message on the Dashboard | Billing, not a lockout — see above |
The Product data syncing has been disabled notice on the Dashboard (Sales Channels not syncing if you have switched to the original dashboard view with View Original Experience) | Rule 3 — inactivity |

your plan, and whether you have just changed it,
and roughly when syncing stopped.
